Jazz Potter is an artist based in Bristol who works in a studio at Mivart street studios in Easton. She completed a degree in Drawing and Print at the University of the West of England graduating in 2019 with First Class Honours. She is an artist who enjoys delving into a range of mediums to create work which ranges from paintings, to collage, textiles and sculpture. The artist loves to construct compositions and experiment with shape and colour. She makes use of open spaces and shapes across all her work and aims to play with how the colour interacts with void like space. She enjoys working with certain imagery and re fabricating certain compositions together to create a new narrative or statement. She draws upon her own personal experience within her artwork investigating themes of grief, self esteem, self reflection and the female experience.
